Rick Case discovered his true passion at an early age. From the front yard of his family home in Akron, Ohio selling used cars in high school. In 1962, he opened his first dealership in Akron, Ohio in 1962. Rick Case is as excited today about his business as he was 50 years ago and aggressively seeks opportunities to grow the Rick Case Auto Group which he owns and operate with his wife Rita Case. The Rick Case Automotive Group currently encompasses 15 dealerships in Ohio, Georgia and Florida including Acura, Audi, Fiat, Kia, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Honda Cars and Cycles. Recognized as leaders in the auto industry Rita and Rick Case have received numerous awards; including National Dealers of the Year by USA Today, Time and Sports Illustrated magazines, the American International Automobile Dealers Association and the National Automobile Dealer Association. Most Recently Rita and Rick Case were the 2011 recipients of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. Additionally, in 2012, Rita and Rick Case also became the first couple to ever win the American International Automobile Dealers Association David F. Mungenast National Lifetime Achievement Award. As board members of the "Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward county" since 1986, Rita and Rick Case have raised more than 50-million-dollars for the Clubs through events they have founded and produced. In recognition of their unyielding dedication and support they were honored in 2011 as "National Medallion Award Winners" by the Boys and Girls Club of America, the highest honor given by the National Office of the Boys and Girls Clubs to any individual. Rick and Rita Case have been partners in business since 1980 and have two children, Ryan and Raquel.
