( Kara Starzyk / November 16, 2012 ) Dr. Alejandro Isava, left, Marie Hayes and Jean Starkey show off a piece of artwork that will be on display during the Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center's (CDTC) "Ribbons for the Children" event, which will take place Dec. 7 at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale. The event will celebrate World AIDS Day by featuring artwork of 22 local artists, some of who have included the iconic "red ribbon" in pieces especially created for the event. The exhibit and benefit is hosted in collaboration with ArtsUnited. |
