Broward tienen oficialmente nuevo alguacil. El auto denominado "hombre bendecido", Scott Israel juramentó el martes como el 16to. Alguacil del condado de broward.

Poco después de las 12 p.m., tomó juramento en la oficina de la jueza Ilona Holmes de la Corte de Circuito del condado de Broward en The Faith Center, 5555 N.W. 95th Avenue en Sunrise.

Siguiendo la tradición, Israel administró el juramento de la oficina al personal de la agencia que asistió a la ceremonia.

A las 6 p.m. y 7 p.m., celebrará la juramentación de más oficiales de la agencia que cuenta con 5,500 empleados en el Bailey Hall, Broward College, 3501 S.W. Davie Rd. en Davie.

El miércoles celebrará más ceremonias de juramentación en la African American Research Library, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., en Fort Lauderdale.

La agencia es una de las más grandes del país. Sirve a 17 distritos, incluyendo municipalidades, cuatro cárceles, el Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport y Port Everglades.
