Boss-B-Gone: Police employees accused of alleged Santeria birdseed plot

ere's a sure-fire way of ruffling your boss' feathers: Cast a Santeria spell on him using birdseed.

Two North Miami Beach employees who were apparently upset their boss, Interim Police Chief Larry Gomer, had planned to slash the police budget, planned to scatter birdseed around their boss' office in City Hall, reports The Miami Herald.

One of the employees, an 24-year veteran officer, told authorities she knew the bird-seeds would work because her son and daughter moved out of her home after she placed birds in a cage with bird-seeds on her front porch, according to the report.

Genius? Or a bird-brained plot?

Maybe the boss should just flip them off.
