FootballJoe PhilbinRyan TannehillLamar MillerPhilip WheelerBrandon GibsonKnowshon Moreno

-- Top performers: 1. DE Dion Jordan (2 sacks); 2. WR Damian Williams (flashed all day); 3.RB Damien Williams (moving up depth chart)

-- Joe Philbin said Damian Williams has a second gear. When he catches the ball he's able to separate from people.

-- "We haven't been super productive on offense. Lets get that on the table because it is a fact," Philbin said.

-- Joe Philbin said Seth Lobato "throws effortless at times." Points out he's got good size, and a strong arm.

-- Joe Philbin said the roster changes were caused because "we wanted to look at some tackles."

-- Philbin said the music is something they are kicking around to improve the atmosphere.

-- "Ball security is the number one thing we talk about every night," Philbin said.

-- Philbin said today was a productive practice. Big stretch coming up going five days in a row. "We really have to get a lot accomplished."

-- Mike Wallace said he was just joking around when he was talking about returning kicks. He wouldn't mind doing kickoff returns, but not punts.

-- Mike Wallace said didn't go through entire practice because his hamstring was a little sore. He said he should be ok tomorrow.

-- "We have eight legit guys who can make the team. But we all know that's not going to happen," Mike Wallace on the receiver unit.

-- "I like what I've seen, but we've still got a ways to go as well," Mike Wallace evaluating the offense.

-- "Every single day it is a push," Bill Lazor on pushing them tempo on offense.

-- Bill Lazor said his number one goal Is to play with tempo. "At the snap of the ball we have to play fast."

-- "Our leaders must step forward," Bill Lazor said of the Dolphins offense.

-- Bill Lazor said he's pleased with the team's effort, guys are playing fast. "As a coach you want to deal with guys who work with you."

-- "I think the offensive line is coming along right on schedule," Bill Lazor said.

-- "I'm concerned. But it is what it is," John Benton on the uncertainty of the center. "I think we'll know a lot after the first preseason game.

-- Damien Williams, the undrafted rookie from Oklahoma, is really running hard today. I'm intrigued.

-- Dion Jordan gets his second straight sack of Matt Moore. This new left tackle (Steven Baker) might not be here long.

-- Earl Mitchell just stopped Mike Gillislee for a loss on a red zone run.

-- Louis Delmas with a dynamic safety blitz to kill Tannehill's final 11-on-11 red zone session.

-- Most CBs try to blend in just in case they get beat. Will Davis clearly stands out with his bright neon cleats.

-- Damien Williams is taking the first team reps during the final 11 on 11 session. Strong run up the gut opened up by JaWuan James.

-- Decent day for offense and defense. OL has moderate success. Defense not as disruptive as previous practices.

-- Rishard Matthews just caught a TD pass in the back of the end zone during 7-on-7 goal line work. Pretty floater from Tannehill.

-- Keep in mind every time you see a Damian or Damien Williams we aren't always talking about the same people. A is the WR, E is the rookie RB.

-- Tannehill to Egnew TD!!

-- I really like when Jared Odrick and Dion Jordan play together. They have a speed to power game that works well together.

-- Billy Turner just got a hand placement tutorial from John Benton during tandem work. He has a good punch, just needs to land it.

-- Just watched Dallas Thomas take a snap at right tackle. Interesting.

-- WR Stephen Williams drops potential TD pass in end zone. CB Louis Delmas drops potential INT on deflection.

-- Ryan Tannehill bulleted a beautiful slant to Damian Williams.

-- Tannehill with a TD pass to a wide open Orleans Darkwa. Somewhere the defense broke down on that coverage.

-- Jimmy Wilson with a deflection of a Tannehill goal line pass.

-- Jelani Jenkins is working with the starting linebackers, replacing Dannell Ellerbe during these 11 on 11 snaps.

-- Matt Moore just threw a TD pass to Stephen Williams during red zone 11-on-11. He's the offense's biggest red zone receiver.

-- Jason Fox is working as the 2nd team left tackle right now.

-- Brent Grimes just dropped a Tannehill interception. Got his hands on it, but wasn't really catchable since it was behind him.

-- Brent Grimes just did his push ups for dropping the interception. That's commitment.

-- The Dolphins have returned from their cooling off period inside the bubble.

-- Tannehill been good in mostly controlled passing game. Not much downfield passing yet today. Red-zone drill so-so.

-- Not much excitement from practice so far today. Offense having good day, defense not so good, but acceptable.

-- Mike Pouncey and Knowshon Moreno emerge from facility for 1st time today. Assume they've been inside doing rehab.

-- Kevin Cone just made his second straight impressive catch during 1-on-1.

-- Damien Williams just made a nice impressive catch during 1-on-1. He's intriguing.

-- Lamar Miller up middle...comes up limping (again)...doesn't look serious but not 1st time he limped today.

-- Lamar Miller getting medical attention.

-- Tannehill rolls right, no one open...throws it out of end zone...good decision...don't force it.

-- Rookie Walt Aikens continues to work as a safety. I guess that position switch is final. Makes sense. He wasn't a very good CB.

-- Matt Hazel just dropped a possible TD pass from Tannehill during 11-on-11 red zone. I didn't see a DB break it up.

-- Steve Baker, the new addition, is working as the second team left tackle today. He's paired with Billy Turner, who is at RG.

-- Damien Williams just dropped a goal line pass. He's working with the 2nd team unit while Orleans Darkwa is with "the other guys."

-- This new QB Seth Lobato seems to have a little better arm than Brock Jensen.

-- Backup center Sam Brenner is being carted off with a right leg injury.

-- Nice physical run from Lamar Miller for the final snap of the first 11 on 11 session.

-- Sam Brenner just got hurt on a running play. He's not getting up. Looks like an lower extremity injury right now. Keep you posted.

-- Nate Garner is back at center for the first time all camp. Not sure if the Sam Brenner injury prompted this, or it was the plan all along.

-- Shelley Smith just delivered a high snap.

-- Matt Moore just connected deep to Damian Williams, who beat Will Davis during 11-on-11 for about a 30 yard gain.

-- Watching Jordan Tripp replace Philip Wheeler as the starting WLBER. That's new.

-- Brandon Gibson catches a quick flare for a short gain on 2nd play. He's clearly working despite getting nicked up on Sunday.

-- First snap of 11 on 11 and Lamar Miller is stuffed in the backfield.

-- WRs practicing ball-handling technique on double-reverse. Interesting. Don't think we saw that in previous camps.

-- Chris McCain is presently the third team WLBer. He's behind Philip Wheeler and Jelani Jenkins.

-- This drill exposes need for Knowshon Moreno's pass-blocking skills. RBs getting killed.

-- RBs not doing well in pass blocking drill. Misi beat Damien Williams, Wheeler crushes Miller. Ugly.

-- Still very concerned about RBs without Knowshon Moreno. Lamar Miller having nice camp but not a polished product.

-- I really like Philip Wheeler as a blitzing linebacker. I think he excelled at Georgia Tech as a pass rusher. That's how I think he works best.

-- Today begun with blocking drills. Players are chippy and we're 30 minutes into practice. I smell a fight brewing.

-- Just watched Brandon Gibson pancake Louis Delmas during a blocking drill. Eye opening!

-- The Dolphins begin the morning working on the fumble drill.
