Emergency landing in residential area

A 1967 Viking aircraft sits in the rear yard of 6821 Pine Drive, west of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100412120000" title="Lantana" href="/topic/us/florida/palm-beach-county/lantana-PLGEO100100412120000.topic">Lantana</a>, after the pilot Allan Schultz, 71, of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100412170000" title="Palm Beach Gardens" href="/topic/us/florida/palm-beach-county/palm-beach-gardens-PLGEO100100412170000.topic">Palm Beach Gardens</a>, made a emergency crash landing about 1/4 mile from the Lantana Airport. The plane clipped the (bottom) house next door and left one of its landing gear in the attic and then powerlines pulled the plane down into the yard next door. Allan walked away with facal cuts.
