Esther Williams dead at 91

Esther Williams, star of 1940s and 1950s "aqua-musicals" and an inaugural member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, died June 6, 2013 at age 91 in Beverly Hills, Calif. Williams appeared in Fort Lauderdale along with Johnny Weissmuller, Buster Crabbe and others in 1965 for the opening of the museum, following a career that included 27 movies and a water show that toured the nation, including stops in Miami Beach.
