Comes to Miami after four years as head coach at Texas A&M; spent two seasons as the assistant head coach for the Houston Texans; was head coach of the Green Bay Packers for six seasons starting in 2000; was GM in Green Bay from 2001-04; had five winning seasons with the packers, including consecutive NFC North titles in 2002, 03 and 04; had .663 winning percentage (53-27) over his first five years; also coached offensive lines at A&M and UCLA; began coaching career as part-timer in Pittsburgh in 1981; also coached at Tulane and Holy Cross; played defensive end and offensive tackle at Central Connecticut State University
