Game 9: MIAMI 59, Syracuse 0

THE SKINNY: Ken Dorsey and his teammates on the offense emphatically rebounded from the poor showing the previous week at Boston College. Dorsey, who threw four interceptions in Chestnut Hill, threw four touchdown passes against the Orangemen as left tackle Bryant McKinnie held star defensive end Dwight Freeney, who came into the game with 16 1/2 sacks, to no sacks and no tackles. Andre Johnson had a career-high 116 yards and two touchdowns and running backs Clinton Portis and Frank Gore combined for 285 rushing yards on 29 carries. QUOTABLE: “This team is scary when they are clicking on all cylinders.” Coach Larry Coker PICTURED: Phillip Buchanon returns an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
