Ronald Reagan

The day of the Super Bowl, in a private ceremony at the White House, Ronald Reagan was sworn in for a second term as president of the United States. Later, in a live remote, the Gipper helped toss a ceremonial coin to decide the Bowl's opening kickoff. The Dolphins' Dwight Stephenson called heads. It was tails. The 49ers asked to receive. And the United States of America has never been the same.
