Sun Sentinel

A pair of Palm Beach County high school football players recently received All-American honors.

Palm Beach Central offensive lineman and Miami Hurricanes commitment Kc McDermott was named a first-team All-American by MaxPreps, and Cardinal Newman receiver Travis Rudolph was a second-team selection.

If you missed it during the holidays, Rudolph committed to Florida State, where he's set to catch passes next season from Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston.
