Shameless plug alert, and an update on my blog/column whereabouts. First, the plug: I'll be on PBS-Ch. 2's Issues this weekend, talking politics, election results and Miami Dolphins wackiness. The show airs tonight (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. and replays at 12:30 pm Sunday on WPBT-TV (Ch.2).
Host Helen Ferre, myself and a panel including Miami Herald political reporter Marc Caputo, Barry University professor Sean Forman and Sun-Sentinel contributing op-ed columnist Guillermo Martinez tackle a wide range of topics, including Charlie Crist's political revival/run for governor and Miami voter approval of an $850 million bond package for Jackson health system.
Now the update: As some of you may have noticed, my blog has been on hiatus and my normal print column schedule has been curtailed lately. I've been buried in a longer-form project, which happily is nearing completion. You'll be hearing (and reading) more about that later.
I will have a print column in Sunday's paper (about the continuing saga/trainwreck that is the Obamacare web site), and I hope to resume regular weekday blog postings next week.
Thanks for your patience, and happy weekend.
