Christian Yelich and Jake Marisnick might be in the big leagues, but they’re still prospects in the eyes of baseball’s talent evaluators.
Yelich and Marisnick were named two of baseball’s top 100 prospects Friday. The list, compiled by MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo, included five in the Marlins system. Only three teams had more Top-100 players than the Marlins.
Yelich was ranked the game’s 10th best talent. Marisnick came in at No. 48. Pitchers Andrew Heaney and Justin Nicolino were ranked Nos. 54 and 64 on the list and recently signed third baseman Colin Moran was at No. 78.
