Vulnerable U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in Palm Beach County seeking campaign cash

Sun Sentinel

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican and frequent sidekick to U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, is in Palm Beach County on Monday looking to raise campaign cash.

He was set to appear at a "pro-Israel reception" Monday morning at the home of Judy & Sidney Swartz of Delray Beach.

Prices ranged from $500 per person to $5,000 sponsorships for couples.

Graham is in a solidly Republican state. But he's facing a vigorous tea party challenge in the primary.

The rating from the independent Sabato's Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia, said the contest "leans Graham." That's not a great place to be. Though not as bad as toss-up, Graham is not in as good shape as "likely" or "safe" to win renomination.
