Jacobs appeared at a Dania Beach news conference with U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.
Both were sharply critical of the Christie-Scott team.
The host of the last of three Saturday Christie-Scott fundraisers is Billy Rubin, one of the state's top lobbyists, with an office in Fort Lauderdale and home in Plantation. He's a big Scott pal.
He's also a pal of Jacobs and, in the past, of Wasserman Schultz.
Rubin and his firm contributed $1,500 in cash and in-kind contributions to Jacobs in September and November of last year. He also supported her unsuccessful 2012 bid for a Democratic congressional nomination.
He's also given to Wasserman Schultz, but not in a long time. Federal records show the last Rubin contribution to her was $2,300 in 2008, when Rubin was a Democrat and before she was chairwoman of the national party.
Jacobs answers questions about Christie, Scott, Wasserman Schultz and taking money from Rubin in the above video.
