JetBlue Airways plans to add new once-daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Cartagena, Colombia, and to Las Vegas, Nevada starting Oct. 29, the New York based carrier announced Wednesday.
These two new routes follow on the heels of the carrier's announcement in April of new service between Fort Lauderdale and Pittsburgh, which also starts the same day.
JetBlue -- the top carrier for passenger traffic at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport-- currently flies to Bogota and Medellin, Colombia from there.
In the past year, the value carrier has also launched new service between Fort Lauderdale and San Jose, Costa; Lima, Peru; Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago; Montego Bay, Jamaica and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
To celebrate Wednesday’s new routes, JetBlue is offering special one-way fares available through Monday from $149 to Cartagena and $129 to Las Vegas, valid for travel between Oct. 29 and Dec. 16.
