Rebecca Bradley, of Fort Lauderdale, was having coffee in North Beach Village when she looked up and noticed juxtaposing architecture. To her, the mid-century modern overhang looked like a spaceship colliding with the high rise tower architecture. "[It was] a nice visual metaphor for how development has evolved and/or collided with one another over the years at Fort Lauderdale beach," said Bradley.
