Stacks come down

Residents of Atlantic Towers watch the demolition of FPL's Power Plant at Port Everglades. The four red-and-white-striped, 350-foot stacks and 7,500-ton boilers have stood at the site since the 1960s. The demolition will make way for a new $1.2 billion power plant.
