Report: Driver, 63, shot at cop over a ticket | Video


Orlando cops said after William Jasper Cates, 63, was ticketed on Wednesday afternoon for running a stop sign in his car, returned to the Baldwin Park area a short time later driving a motorized scooter and wearing a mask, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

This time the man intentionally ran a stop sign in front of the officer, crashed his scooter, and when approached by the officer, he pulled out a gun and shot at him, according to the report.

The officer was not injured.

Cates then got a one way ticket to jail.
