Cops: Couple made $90,000 in 6-months swiping baby formula


This mom and dad had the perfect formula for making money.

A couple, Sonya M. Barbour, 32, and her fiance, Glenn K.C. Martin, 31, brought their 9-month-old son along on their shoplifting spree, according to a Palm Springs police arrest report. reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Workers at a Palm Springs Walmart saw Martin leaving the store with a baby stroller loaded with 15-24 cans of the baby formula valued at $2,388, covered by a blanket, police said.

Both allegedly 'fessed up, telling authorities they have pain pill addictions – Martin spends up to $125 a day on the addiction while Barbour spends up to $90, according to the report.
