Cops said a Lake Worth dad, Alexander Handel Webster, 29, crashed his car after bolting from a minor traffic stop -- with his son, age 6, in the back seat, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
After the less than half-mile chase and crash, Webster allegedly popped open his door and was about to flee when the officer pulled out his gun and detained him.
When questioned by cops about why he fled the traffic stop, Webster reportedly said he thought his license was suspended.
But it was still valid, according to the report.
