Fan Voice: How will Ryan Tannehill's arrival affect the Miami Dolphins' QB competition?

The Miami Dolphins officially announced Sunday rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill has signed his four-year rookie deal.

News of the accord surfaced Saturday night, and there was a slight buzz outside of the Dolphins' training facility as fans awaited entry for the third day of practice.

Tannehill missed the first two days of training camp, but was expected to participate Sunday for the first time of training camp.

So far, Matt Moore and David Garrard have been competing and sharpening their skills hoping to create some separation by the middle of August when the Dolphins hope to identify a starter.

So in this edition of Fan Voice we ask you: How will Ryan Tannehill's arrival affect the Miami Dolphins' QB race?

Tannehill's progression during media viewings in the offseason appeared slow in terms of his comfort with NFL speed, specifically his decision making skills.

What progress - if any - he has made since the end of June could go a long way toward determining if he's a legitimate contender for Miami's starting job. But if he has shown little improvement it's likely the Dolphins will settle between Moore and Garrard.

One thing is certain, all eyes will be on the quarterbacks at this morning's practice.
