A Duval County judge sentenced Brian Craig Patterson, 32, to the maximum terms of six months in jail and one year of probation for driving drunk when he ran over a man in his truck while trying to flee from an attack, reports The Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville.
While Patterson’s BAL was certainly above the legal limit to drive, it was the actions of another man, however, who has been charged with murder, that actually caused the man's death, according to records.
But Evans apparantly didn't learn his lesson.
He is now facing another DUI charge in another county, which occurred four months after the deadly Jacksonville incident.
