Mitch Ceasar, chairman of the Broward Democratic Party, has been re-elected to the executive board of the Democratic National Committee at the DNC summer meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.
He represents 13 southern states on the executive board, which has about 45 members. He’s served on the executive board for six years; the new term is four years. The executive board meets about four times a year.
At the beginning of 2013, the Florida Democratic Party re-elected Ceasar as a member of the much larger Democratic National Committee (which is chaired by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston). He’s serving his fifth, four-year term as a DNC member.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
