Broward doctor sentenced to prison for fake Botox injections

Jan. 25, 2006: Bach McComb, an Oakland Park osteopathic doctor whose medical license had been suspended over accusations of overprescribing painkillers, is sentenced to three years in federal prison, the maximum allowed, after accidentally poisoning himself, his girlfriend and a Palm Beach Gardens couple by injecting large doses of a raw, unapproved Botox-like toxin in November 2004. McComb had pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking in a drug that was not federally approved.
