Steven Abrams is the first mayor of Palm Beach County, formerly chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, where he has served since 2009. In 2010, he was elected without opposition to a four-year term.
Abrams was the mayor of Boca Raton for seven years until he was term limited in 2008. He was a Boca Raton City Council member from 1989 to 1999 and practiced law in Boca Raton since 1985.
Before moving to Florida, Mayor Abrams served as law clerk to the counsel to President Reagan and the current chief justice of the United States, John G.
