Charles Caulkins is the managing partner of the Fisher & Phillips Fort Lauderdale office and is a member of the law firm's Management Committee. He and his law firm represent employers nationally in labor and employment law matters. Fisher & Phillips, with 31 offices around the United States, is one of the oldest and largest law firms in America that exclusively represents employers in labor and employment law matters. Mr. Caulkins is a founding member and past President of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys and was the 2006 Chairman of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber and is the Chairman of the Broward Workshop. Mr. Caulkins has been recognized as a South Florida Top Lawyer by South Florida Legal Guide, Florida Super Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, and Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Lawyers. He has also been named one of "The Nation's 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys" by Human Resources Executive Magazine.
Charley served as President of the Executive’s Association of Ft. Lauderdale in 2000. Charley was born in Kansas, raised in Illinois and attended law school at Creighton University and New York University.
He moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1985.
