Holocaust train

A railcar acquired from the Poland used in the Holocaust is being restored in a warehouse a couple blocks north of the Holocaust Documentation & Education Center, Inc. in Hollywood. THe railcar cannot be stored in the main building because a large portion cannot not be used now because it needs over 2 billion dollars in repairs to fix code violations, according to the center's President, Hon. Rositta Ehrlich Kenigsberg. The city voted unanimously Wednesday to give the Center a 90-day reprieve from a foreclosure lawsuit for failing to pay more than $200,000 in loan payments. A large portion the building is not being used now because it needs repairs to fix code violations, according to Kenigsberg. Sarah Dussault, Sun Sentinel
