The holiday season is bringing several “Nutcracker” ballets to South Florida.

BOCA BALLET THEATRE
In addition to the ballet, the company will host a Gingerbread Ball on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at which young people can meet Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and other magical characters at a post-matinee children’s party.

THE CHOCOLATE NUTCRACKER
Ashanti Cultural Arts presents this Afrocentric adaptation featuring African drummers, multicultural dancers and the celebration of Kwanzaa through a score that includes classical and jazz.
