Leblon gingersnap

1 1/2 ounces Leblon Cachaça<br>
6 basil leaves<br>
1 ounce apple juice<br>
3/4 ounce simple syrup<br>
Slice of fresh ginger or a dash of ginger liqueur<br><br>
 
Muddle the basil, ginger, and simple syrup in a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and add the apple juice and Leblon Cachaça. Shake well and strain into a martini glass.
