They're not greedy

NBA teams kind of have a limit on how much they can spend on players. In 2010, James, Wade and Chris Bosh all took $15 million pay cuts so the Heat could pay Udonis Haslem more money. Haslem had big offers from Dallas and the Denver Nuggets, but even with the Big Three's generosity, he took about $10 million less to stay with the Heat. And last fall, Ray Allen took $6 million over two years from the Heat instead of $12 million over three years with Boston. Would you give up that kind of loot?
