Sweet Sixteen Party at Coral Springs Museum of Art

Sweet Sixteen Party: The Coral Springs Museum of Art is officially old enough to drive a car, but not to drink alcohol, which will hardly stop fans from toasting the suburban museum with many libations during a party Thursday night. The museum (2855 Coral Springs Drive) will also unveil three new exhibitions, including "Americana Collection" by Coral Springs artist Sandee Berman, "Glackens As Illustrator" (on loan from the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale) and the "Breast Cancer Awareness Body Painting Project." Also features a raffle and a library dedication to former executive director Barbara O'Keefe. 6 p.m. $50; raffle is $25. 954-340-5000 or — Phillip Valys
