Top events to do Friday: Marc Anthony and a ticket alert for America's Got Talent Live

Music

Marc Anthony: The Puerto Rican crooner, arguably one of the best Latin singers of this century, kicks off his Virvir Mi Vida tour at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at AmericanAirlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Anthony, who owns a home in downtown Miami, will perform songs from his "3.0" album, his first salsa record in almost a decade. Also expect to here some older hits such as "Ahora Quien" and "Si Te Vas." Known for his distinct stage presence — much like the late Hector Lavoe, whom he portrayed in the film "El Cantante" — Anthony sings from the heart, and puts on quite the show.
