Neil Gaiman, writer of the well-received graphic novel "The Sandman," the Hugo Award-winning "Coraline" and screenwriter of at least one episode of the BBC's "Doctor Who," will appear Sunday in Coral Gables to promote his new adult novel, "The Ocean at the End of the Lane." The book, concerning a 7-year-old boy who discovers a neighbor's supernatural secret, continues a busy year that began with the publication of Gaiman's picture book "Chu's Day," followed by a BBC Radio adaptation of his book "Neverwhere." Gaiman will discuss the new book, out this week, during a 2 p.m. Q&A at Temple Judea (5500 Granada Blvd.). Admission is free, but attendees must purchase a copy of the novel ($25.99) at BooksandBooks.com. 305-442-4408.
