Brian Friel's rural-Ireland-set play "Dancing at Lughnasa" concerns five sisters, all unmarried, who reside in a cottage to care for an elderly brother who has lost his faith and is suffering from malaria. Told from the perspective of their younger brother, the play follows the Mundy sisters as they mourn their diminishing beauty and youth, and a household torn by dwindling spirituality. The play, mounted by Palm Beach Dramaworks (201 N. Clematis St., West Palm Beach), opens Wednesday. $55-$70. 561-514-4042, ext. 2 or PalmBeachDramaworks.org.
