In September, a rock 'n' roll purist known around these parts as "Miami Steve" opted to launch a Kickstarter campaign to revive 1960s blue-eyed soul pioneers the Rascals. The E Street Band's Steven Van Zandt (yes, the perpetually scowling Silvio Dante of "The Sopranos" fame) has a stake in the outfit: He's been trying to reunite them since 1982, most notably in 1997 when Van Zandt inducted the Rascals into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But he's done it, and a recent Rolling Stone article claims new concerts will offer all the hits ("Good Lovin'," "A Beautiful Morning") along with narration and old footage. Catch it 7 p.m. Sunday at Hard Rock Live. $50-$80. 954-797-5531 or HardRockLiveHollywoodFl.com.
