If there were a best dressed list for NBA players, Dwyane Wade would certainly make the list.
Sure, he’s made some questionable choices (remember those Capri pants he wore during this year’s NBA finals? What about those flip glasses from last year?)
Still, there's no arguing that the three-time Heat champ can pull together an outfit. "I’m never boring, and always add a little something to fashion."
A little something, indeed. At his “A Night on the RunWade” held Thursday at the Moore Building in downtown Miami, the superstar athlete brought the bling, which included a black and white sequined tux and spiffy gold shoes.
Wade said he found the outfit in the back of his closet. "I went with the black and white tux look and added the shoes so when people looked down they would say, 'oh.' I like the Oh kind of reaction.”
The fashion event, attended by the chic South Florida crowd, raised money for his foundation, which he runs along with his sister, Tragil Wade. "It’s close to both our hearts. We look at the kids that we help as we were once those kids. We can identify with them and it fulfills the inner child in us.”
