Tickets for increasingly eclectic country star Brad Paisley’s summer tour stop at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach finally go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The June 21 concert (it’s a Friday) is part of his “Beat This Summer Tour,” named for the new single off the album “Building a Wheelhouse,” due out on April 9. The show will also include Chris Young and the Henningsens. Tickets are $64.75 and $44.75 (reserved), $29.25 for the lawn (with special four-pack deals on lawn tickets, too).
“Building a Wheelhouse” shows some new sides to Paisley, telegraphed in the chart-topping first single, “Southern Comfort Zone” (brilliant video below), a heartfelt celebration of global interconnectedness and diversity of experience. The album includes cameos by rapper-actor LL Cool J and, perhaps even more curious, former Monty Python funnyman Eric Idle.
On his “Beat This Summer Tour,” Paisley will donate a dollar from each ticket sale to Live Beyond, a Nashville nonprofit that provides medical care, clean water, nutritional support and development activities to impoverished communities in Haiti. Info: LiveBeyond.org.
Paisley has also become an author: The album release will coincide with an interactive digital book of the same name, which takes fans through the recording of the album, with exclusive interviews, videos and photo galleries.
