Harold Blitzer, of Boynton Beach, claimed the June 25 Mega Money jackpot of $500,000 at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Blitzer chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings of $385,819.25.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from a Full Service Vending Machine at Walmart Market, located at 9840 South Military Trail in Boynton Beach. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the ticket.
This ticket was the 28th jackpot-winning Mega Money ticket sold in Palm Beach County since 2004.
