Chet "The Jet" Walker was part of the 1970s teams with Jerry Sloan, Bob Love and Norm Van Lier that made professional basketball popular in Chicago. Walker had won an NBA title in Philadelphia when he was traded to the Bulls in 1971, brining his prolific scoring with him to average more than 19 points per game in his six seasons in Chicago. Four of his seven all-star appearances were made as a Bull. (Tribune archive photo)
