SUITS stars Gabriel Macht (“Love and Other Drugs,” “Whiteout”), as one of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him - Patrick J. Adams (“Lost,” “Friday Night Lights”), as Mike Ross, a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout. Though he isn't actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. However, in order to serve justice and save their jobs, both these unconventional thinkers must continue the charade. The series also stars Meghan Markle (“CSI Miami,” “Fringe”), Gina Torres (“Gossip Girl,” “Huge”) and Rick Hoffman (“Samantha Who,” “Knight Rider”).
NECESSARY ROUGHNESS focuses on Dr. Dani Santino (Callie Thorne), a Long Island psychotherapist whose personal life unravels when she catches her husband cheating. Diving fully into her work, she takes on the challenge of rehabbing a bad boy professional football player (Mehcad Brooks) whose off-the-field antics threaten his career and the team franchise. Underestimated at every turn, she succeeds beyond expectations and soon finds herself the most sought-after therapist for high-profile clients. Athletes, entertainers, politicians and others living in the spotlight clamor for her unique brand of tough love therapy during their moments of crisis. Although her career is reenergized, it wreaks havoc on her life as a newly minted single mom of two teenagers. Recognizing her ability to change people’s lives, she’s determined to strike a balance between both worlds. The series stars Callie Thorne (“Rescue Me,” “Californication”), Marc Blucas (Knight and Day,” “Buffy, The Vampire Slayer”) Mehcad Brooks (“True Blood”) and Scott Cohen (“Law & Order: Trial By Jury”).Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
