Dec. 10: Bulls 89, Detroit 76

Defense does it again for the Bulls. They held Detroit to just 33 first half points and survived a late fourth-quarter run for a win on the road against the hapless Pistons. Chicago was led by Noah, who had a near perfect all-around game, and Derrick Rose, who shot 3-for-3 from the three-point line and came up with two big assists late in the game. Ronnie Brewer also shut down Pistons guard Richard Hamilton, who had 11 points on 4-for-19 shooting.
Player of the game: Joakim Noah, 14 points, 15 rebounds, 6-for-6 shooting from the field.
Bulls record: 13-6
