The fact the Bears didn't win back-to-back Super Bowls is a downright travesty. Despite actually allowing fewer points than the '85 team, the defense was hung out to dry by the offense, especially the poor play of quarterback Jim McMahon. Even though the team earned a first-round bye due to a 14-2 record, the Bears lost to the Redskins in the second round of the playoffs.-Ernest Wilkins
