NBC plans fall 2011 TV premiere dates

"The Playboy Club," NBC's Chicago-filmed drama about the famed 1960s nightclub of the title, will premiere Sept. 19, the network announced.

"The Playboy Club" takes place in Chicago at the swinging hideaway for Playboy fans built by publisher Hugh Hefner. After watching the pilot, I'd say "The Playboy Club" is going to be a zesty cocktail of glamor, music, mystery and sin. Oh, and sex, at least as much as NBC and the censors will allow.

Eddie Cibrian, Amber Heard, Laura Benanti, David Krumholtz and Naturi Naughton are among the stars of the series.
