The Flash is baring all ... of his costume.
Warner Bros. Television and The CW on Tuesday released the first full-suit image of series star Grant Gustin as "The Flash."
The costume was designed by three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, who also designed Stephen Amell's "Arrow" costume. She has won Academy Awards for her work on "Alice in Wonderland," "Memoirs of a Geisha" and "Chicago."
"I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash's iconic suit," said pilot director/executive producer David Nutter.
Gustin plays Barry Allen, aka Flash in The CW pilot "The Flash," which is currently in production. "The Flash" is the latest adaptation of the DC Comics character who, as we saw in "Arrow," suffered a freak accident that transformed scientist Allen into the fastest man alive.
"Arrow" exec producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Nutter also serve as exec producers on "The Flash." Nutter is directing from a script by Berlanti, Kreisberg and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.
