'Elementary,' 'Beauty and the Beast' added to SDCC schedule

CBS Television Studios is giving fans at San Diego Comic Con International a chance to see the world premiere screenings of its fall series "Beauty and the Beast" and "Elementary," the studio announced Tuesday.

Back-to-back panels will take place Thursday, July 12, in Ballroom 20, featuring screenings of the series' first episodes along with panel discussions from producers and stars of the shows. Below is the schedule and you'll find more Comic Con TV events buy clicking this link.

Beauty And The Beast
3:30 p.m.-4:35 p.m., Ballroom 20
Panelists: stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan; executive producers Jennifer Levin, Sherri Cooper, Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders

The modern adaptation of the beloved fairy tale centers on Catherine Chandler (Kreuk), a tough-minded NYPD homicide detective who is haunted by witnessing her mother's murder nine years ago--as well as the murderer's quick demise at what she perceived to be the hands of a beast. After years of searching, Catherine finally discovers the beast is Vincent Keller (Ryan), a survivor of a military experiment that went disastrously wrong and left him to lead a secret life in hiding.

Between 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m., Kreuk, Ryan and executive producers will participate in an autograph signing at the CW/CBS booth on the convention floor.

Elementary

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary characters Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson get a contemporary update, cracking cases in present-day New York City. Brilliant investigator Sherlock (Miller) is a recent rehab graduate paired with his worst nightmare: sober coach Joan Watson (Liu). Together, Sherlock's unique detective skills and Watson's medical expertise form a formidable force capable of solving the NYPD's most impossible cases.

Between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Miller, Liu and the show's creators will participate in an autograph signing at the CBS/CW booth.
