Divvy to reopen noon Saturday after weather closure

Divvy plans to reopen its bike sharing system at noon Saturday after the snowstorm shuttered the operation.

According to its website, Divvy said Saturday's noon reopening is subject to weather conditions. Divvy had closed the system at noon Tuesday because of the weather and it has remained closed since.

"While we know the closure meant interrupting some riders’ regular routines using Divvy, we felt it was necessary due to the snowy conditions of the roads and stations," Divvy said in a note posted on its website.

This is the first time Divvy has made the decision to close the system.
