( ABC / November 23, 2012 ) Stana Katic stars as NYPD Det. Kate Beckett on ABC's "Castle." She was born to a Croatian mother and a Serbian father in Winona, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto), but as a youngster moved to Aurora, Ill., where her parents ran a furniture store. After graduating from West Aurora High School in 1996, she studied acting at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. |
