Whoever the new Bears coach is

WHAT WE SAID: Whoever leads the Bears into next season is all set up for success. The team's defense is still one of the most feared in the league, and the offense has all its skill positions stocked. When the Bears succeed, and they will next year, the man filling Lovie Smith's shoes will be considered a hero.<br><br>
NOW WE KNOW: Marc Trestman's offense is terrific (Josh McCown is crushing it!) while his defense is awful. Blame it on injuries if you want, but even if the Bears make the playoffs, this hardly qualifies as a breakout year.<br><br>  
VERDICT: Miss
