ABC adds more soaps for Fall 2012-13 schedule

ABC is adding more soaps to its primetime line-up after the success of "Revenge" and "Scandal," announcing Tuesday that "666 Park Avenue," about the upscale residents of a possibly haunted New York apartment building, and "Nashville," about scheming country-music stars, will debut this fall.

The deliciously twisted "Revenge" moves from Wednesdays to 8 p.m. Sundays right after its other hit, "Once Upon a Time," and before the new "666 Park Avenue."

"Sunday night will be a battle between good and evil," ABC Entertainment president Paul Lee told reporters in a conference call Tuesday.

"Nashville," starring Connie Britton, will air at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the current "Revenge" spot. Chicago native Shawn Ryan's new military-themed drama, "Last Resort," will air at 7 p.m. Thursdays, kicking off a night of dramas that includes "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal."

ABC picked up 10 new shows overall, including the six dramas and four comedies. The dramas "Mistresses," "Red Widow" and "Zero Hour" will debut midseason.
